Teddy’s Special CD

This fanmix was made for 2011 Teddy Fest.

Cover Track List

1. “Linus and Lucy” from A Charlie Brown Christmas (DL)
One of Teddy’s favourites — he even has a blue blanket like Linus. He loves dancing to this.

2. “Walking in the Air” from The Snowman (DL)
I have to admit, I like this song as well. However, Teddy wants to fly on a snowman whenever this plays. Maybe I should Transfigure my broom into a snowman one day and fly with him?

3. “It’s a Small World” from Disneyland (DL)
Indeed. The world is small. I should take him to Disneyland so he can listen to this all day long.

4. “Who Let the Dogs Out” by Baha Men (DL)
The barking does it for him, I think. He doesn’t have any idea what they are saying except for the “Who let the dogs out! Woof, woof, woof, woof!” part.

5. “Who Put the Bomp” by Barry Mann (DL)
I’m assuming he finds the tune catchy or maybe . . .

6. “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah” from Song of the South (DL)
He likes these strange words? At least this one’s a lot calmer than the previous one.

7. “Somewhere Over the Rainbow & What a Wonderful World” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole (DL)
He likes this song, surprisingly. It’s a good rest song for him. And he needs it to prepare for the next song.

8. “Sing, Sing, Sing” by Benny Goodman (DL)
My poor ears. I should have never bought that toy drum for him. He loves to play on that thing whenever this plays.

9. “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from Mary Poppins (DL)
Another Disney song . . . only he can’t quite pronounce this! He keeps saying “Supercrapifabulisticexpelliarmusdoshit”. Er, I guess I better correct him soon.

10. “Pure Imagination” from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (DL)
Really, I should have never spelled sweets to shower over him when I first played this. Now he expects sweets all the time. Andromeda’s going to kill me for all his cavities.

11. “Hello, Goodbye” by The Beatles (DL)
His favourite Beatles’ song. Well, I suppose it’s a very simple song for a five-year-old? I find it cute he would use a phone as a prop to sing this song.

12. “The Rainbow Connection” from The Muppet Movie (DL)
By the end of this song, Teddy’s worn out. Thank Merlin. We both could use a nap!
